Allergic Rhinitis — Lasting Relief
Complete symptomatic resolution of 12-year chronic allergic rhinitis after 8 months of constitutional treatment.
Before & After
The Full Story
The patient had suffered from perennial allergic rhinitis since age 17, triggered primarily by dust, pollen, and cold weather. She experienced daily sneezing (20–30 bouts in the morning), watery nasal discharge, itching of the eyes and palate, and persistent post-nasal drip. Multiple antihistamines provided temporary relief with significant sedation.
Constitutional analysis revealed a yielding, changeable patient who had difficulty making decisions and depended heavily on others for support. Her symptoms were characteristically worse in warm, stuffy rooms and better in open air. Pulsatilla was clearly indicated.
Treatment began with Pulsatilla 200C. Within the first month, morning sneezing reduced from 30 to 8 bouts. By month 4, she could stop antihistamines entirely. By month 8, she reported no significant rhinitis symptoms even during peak pollen season.
Remedies Used
